According to statistics from the Motor Insurers' Fund of Cyprus (MIF)<\/a> , approximately 80,000 uninsured\nlicensed vehicles are on the roads of Cyprus, representing 9.6% of the total number of insured vehicles.\nThis means that approximately one in ten vehicles does not have the required insurance coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Notify the Police:<\/strong> Even if there are no injuries, you are required to report the accident to the police.\nThe presence of the police is necessary for filing any claim for compensation. If the driver responsible for\nthe accident leaves the scene, report the incident as a hit-and-run and ask for it to be recorded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. 2. Collect evidence: <\/strong>Record the license plate number, make, model, and color of the uninsured vehicle. If\npossible, take photos of the accident scene and the vehicles involved. If there are eyewitnesses, note\ntheir details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
