Information Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture & Implementation: Develop and enforce robust security policies and systems aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements. Ensure IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems) are up to date and monitored. Propose solutions to strengthen our position against cyber-related risks.
Vulnerability Management & Risk Assessment: Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests, collaborating with teams to remediate risks promptly. Audit current and future software developments (in house & external) before going-live.
Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor SIEM alerts, lead incident investigations, and document security events.
Compliance & Governance: Support audits and ensure ongoing adherence to insurance industry regulations. Lead the compliance process for DORA & ISO27001
Security Awareness & Training: Design and deliver training programs that promote a strong security culture.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work cross-functionally to integrate security into operations and recommend enhancements based on emerging trends. Collaborate with external advisors for security-related challenges..

What We’re Looking For

MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or related fields
Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP), knowledge of Cisco FMC & NGAF appliances
Solid knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS protocols, hypervisors (OLVM & VMware)
Strong understanding of web and software security architecture principles
Excellent communication skills with fluency in both Greek and English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
