TRUST Insurance Cyprus continues shaving the Movember path.
The two times awarded Company for its Corporate Social Responsibility actions, Trust Insurance is once again supporting the Movember movement and helps raise awareness about male cancer and its consequences, organizing a shaving event in the courtyard of its headquarters in Nicosia.
The legendary ManVan of Movember Cyprus, the Mo-bile Barbershop, drove in at the Company's headquarters in Nicosia on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, and two young barbers shaved more than 15 TRUST volunteers for two hours in a Cypriot style event!
Violin, "laouto", "tampoutsia" and "tsiattista" accompanied the volunteers while climbing the traditional barber's chair to face his... blade, this way changing the face of men's health.
Along with the hair, Movember products were also leaving the shelves as many of those present chose to support the event by visiting the souvenir stand that was set up in the area. This also helped raise the amount collected over a period of about two weeks, to several thousand euros .
This year's event, which coincided with the ten years of Movember Cyprus, had an even more festive character since, in addition to the volunteers competing for the amount of sponsorship they secured for their fortnight-long effort, traditional Cypriot dancers were also hosted, who competed on the dance floor with "leventiko kartzilama" but also demonstrating their skills in the dance of "drepaniou" and "tatsia". The artistic program concluded with the impressive dance of the glasses that were set on the head of the "vraka" with the help of dozens of employees, insurers and partners of the Company.
